At least 12 civilians were injured when a grenade lobbed by terrorists at security personnel missed its target and exploded on a busy road in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday, the police said.
The incident took place in the Chowk Kakapora area of the Pulwama district.
The unidentified terrorists were trying to attack a party of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) stationed at the Chowk Kakapora. But their grenade missed the target and exploded on a busy road, injuring at least a dozen civilians.
The injured have been rushed to the nearby hospital.
