Arnab Goswami phone use: Two jail staff suspended

NAVI MUMBAI: Two jail staffers of Alibaug prison deployed at the makeshift quarantine center at an Alibaug civic school, where Arnab Goswami and two other accused in abetment to a suicide case of interior designer Anvay Naik were previously lodged, were suspended on Tuesday after they allowed some of the accused to use their cell phones.

The suspension followed an inquiry by the jail superintendent that was triggered by allegations that Goswami was active on social media while in judicial custody.
