BJP ready to welcome Dinesh Trivedi: Kailash Vijayvargiya after TMC MP resigns from Rajya Sabha

After TMC MP Dinesh Trivedi announced his resignation from the Rajya Sabha on Friday, BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya said the party is ready to welcome Trivedi.

Hours after TMC MP Dinesh Trivedi announced his resignation from the Rajya Sabha on Friday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya said the party is ready to welcome Trivedi.
Kailash Vijayvargiya further claimed Dinesh Trivedi “has been in touch with BJP leaders”.
“The BJP is ready to welcome him [Dinesh Trivedi]. He has been in touch with BJP leaders, said Kailash Vijayvargiya, adding, “such senior leaders quitting shows there is no internal democracy in TMC”.
Reacting to Dinesh Trivedi’s resignation from the Rajya Sabha earlier in the day, Kailash Vijayvargiya said, “I thought Dinesh ji has already delayed. It took him one year since he last spoke to me about the TMC. Any respectful person will do this [resign]. Dinesh ji has not spoken to the BJP as of now.”
