PM Narendra Modi gives a thanksgiving to the voters of Goa

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won a majority in five out of six municipal councils in Goa where elections were held on March 20. It also won a majority in the Corporation of City of Panaji (CCP).
Panaji MLA and BJP leader Atanasio Monserratte’s panel won 25 out of 30 seats in the CCP which governs the state capital. BJP panels also won in Canacona, Curchorem, Bicholim, Valpoi and Pernem municipal councils.
A Congress-led panel won the majority only in Cuncolim municipal council.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said people have once again placed their faith in the BJP, adding that the BJP will form ruling bodies in all these municipal councils and the CCP.
Looking at this PM Narendra Modi says: Thank you Goa for the continuous support to BJP. The results of the Municipal Elections 2021 show the people’s appreciation towards our Party’s development agenda. I laud all hardworking BJP Karyakartas who went among people and worked hard during the campaign.
