Service is universal: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Buckingham Palace confirmed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won’t return as working royals.
Queen Elizabeth had commented on Prince Harry and Meghan’s decision to step down with a written statement. “Following conversations with The Duke, The Queen has written confirming that in stepping away from the work of The Royal Family it is not possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service,” the palace statement said. As a response to the statement made by the palace, The Sussexes expressed their commitment to service, stating “We can all live a life of service. Service is universal.” Prince Harry and Meghan’s office also shared how the pair, regardless of their official role, continues to remain committed to their duty and service to the United Kingdom and around the world.
