Sonu Sood and his team provide more 16 oxygen cylinders to a Bengaluru

On Tuesday, Sonu Sood and his team of volunteers in Bengaluru provided more 16 oxygen cylinders to a hospital in the city, saving the lives of 20-22 Covid-19 patients.
The Karnataka team of Sonu Sood Charity Foundation received an SOS call from a police official about the urgent need of oxygen cylinders at ARAK hospital.
Hashmath Raza from Sonu Sood Charity Foundation in Karnataka received an SOS call from a police official about the requirement of oxygen cylinders in the city’s ARAK hospital. The hospital had already lost two patients due to shortage of oxygen and was at the risk of losing 20-22 Covid-19 patients.

The team arranged 16 oxygen cylinders after raising an emergency alarm with its contacts. Sonu Sood lauded the team for its timely response to the SOS call.

Sonu Sood, who has been amplifying information about Covid resources through his social media accounts, lauded his team for their prompt action. The actor said in a statement, "This was sheer teamwork and the will to help our fellow countrymen. As soon as we got the call from Inspector Satyanarayan, we verified it and got to action within minutes. The team spent the entire night not thinking about anything but just helping the hospital to get oxygen cylinders. Had there been any delay, many families could have lost their close ones. I want to thank everyone who helped in saving so many lives last night."
He requested the government and various charitable organisations to announce free education for the children.
Earlier, he had requested the government to cancel the board exams of Class 10 and 12 students.

Sonu Sood recently recovered from Covid-19. The actor had tested positive for the novel coronavirus on April 17 and tested negative on April 23. He had been helping people in need since last year when the nationwide lockdown was imposed to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.
