Ashiesh Roy breathed his last today at the age of 55. He was suffering from kidney failure.
TV actor Ashiesh Roy, who was suffering from kidney ailment, recently breathed his last at his house. The actor was earlier admitted to a Juhu hospital after he complained of water retention. He was undergoing dialysis.
According to reports, security guard of the Pataliputra building in Jogeshwari where Ashiesh stayed said, “Ashiesh saab died at 3.45 am last night. His servant came running down and said he had a couple of big hiccups and collapsed. Unka health problem toh chal hi raha tha but the servant said he was quite okay yesterday. In fact, he was supposed to undergo a dialysis today, too.”
The funeral is expected to be held around late evening.
Earlier, Ashiesh Roy was admitted to a hospital in January 2019 after suffering a paralysis attack. Writer-producer Vinta Nanda had shared the news on her Facebook page. According to reports, in August 2018, Ashiesh was hospitalised due to blood clot in his brain, and apparently underwent surgery for the same.
In May, Ashiesh was in the ICU. The actor took to Facebook to inform his friends that he is not well and needs urgent financial help.
On May 17, at around 1.15 pm, the actor wrote, “Am in the içù…vêý ill.diàlysìs (sic).” At around midnight, the actor shared another post asking for financial aid. He wrote, “Need urr diagent moneyfor dialysis (sic).”
Ashiesh Roy is known for his exceptional acting skills and credible work in projects like Sasural Simar Ka, Jeanie Aur Juju, Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai, Baa Bahu Aur Baby.
