UP Cabinet has cleared a proposal to rename Ayodhya airport as Maryada Purushottam Sri Ram Airport.
The Uttar Pradesh cabinet has approved the proposal to rename the airport in Ayodhya district to Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram Airport, Ayodhya.
In this regard, the article of the proposed resolution for passing in the state assembly has also been approved. It has also been decided to forward this resolution approved by the Council of Ministers from the State Legislative Assembly to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India.
Earlier this month, the city of Ayodhya celebrated the first Diwali after the foundation-stone ceremony for Ram Temple’s construction which was conducted on August 5 this year.
